This conference will be held on November 21, 2013 in the Congress Center at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds. MEDICA 2013 will take place from November 20 - 23, 2013 at the exhibition center in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Held in English, the conference will be dedicated to three topics relating to sports and medicine: prevention, therapy (excluding surgery) and recovery. “For all those who are health conscious, sport plays a crucial role in staying fit into a ripe old age. However, whether caused by accidents or strain, the treatment of sport injuries requires an individual approach as well as expert knowledge,” stated Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf.
The MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE will present research results, trends and technology from various perspectives. In addition to the preventive effect of sports for various illnesses, strategic improvement of training results while at the same time preventing injuries will be the main focus of the conference. Further topics will include techniques to build strength and to prevent surgeries including the latest methods from the field of Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Responsible for the organization of the conference is NAVISPACE AG with its advisory team of renowned experts such as Dr. Tim Meyer, team physician of the German National Football Team and Dr. Luis Serratosa, team physician of Real Madrid.
