Advancing a vision that leverages the global specialty printing and packaging strengths of two well-respected companies, newly merged AGI and Shorewood Packaging formally unveiled to its customers and industry partners a new name and brand logo – ASG (AGI-Shorewood Group).

The ASG name and interlocking arcs that give shape to the company’s circular, red logo symbolize strength, connectivity, global alignment and collaboration.

“ASG’s new name retains equity in the AGI and Shorewood brands. ASG is committed to creating value for our customers with flawless execution, awarding-winning packaging solutions, and with the people they already know and trust to deliver with urgency and accuracy,’’ said Mike Ukropina, President and CEO of ASG.

“We are confident that the rebrand will further our mission to be the best specialty printing and packaging solutions supplier for our customers. ASG will continue to focus on our core business of specialty packaging, as well as building sub-brands devoted to global creative services and innovative plastic products,” said John Barker, VP of Marketing and Business Development.

Said Mark Caines, CEO of ASG’s North America region, “ASG is committed to investing in all aspects of our business, whether it be in innovative technology like being the world’s first packaging company to be inducted into the Pantone Certified Printer Program or our Global Hub for Innovation and Production Management in New Jersey.”

ASG extends its legacy as the leading global provider of specialty packaging services, with locations in North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America. For over 40 years, ASG’s combined companies have been known for industry-leading package engineering, award-winning graphic design, and unparalleled specialty decorative effects and unique materials.
