Curtis Packaging Named in 20 Best Places to Work

Curtis Packaging surpassed many fantastic companies in Connecticut to be included in Connecticut Magazine’s November feature Great Places to Work.

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

The feature, last compiled in 2010, lists the 20 companies in Connecticut deemed to be the best for employee satisfaction.

Curtis was specifically cited for its long average employee tenure (15 years, with many employees having been there twice as long), employee recognition events, and health and wellness programs. In addition to more traditional employee benefits and competitive compensation, the magazine cited “a working environment characterized by open communication, cooperation and a willingness to give employees space to handle their responsibilities on their own terms” as criteria for inclusion in the list.

“We were thrilled to be recognized,” said Don Droppo, Jr. President and CEO of Curtis Packaging. “We are a family business and the health and happiness of our employees is paramount. This is a nice validation that we’re headed in the right direction.”
