Microscan to Showcase its Barcode, Machine Vision and Lighting Solutions for Packaging at FachPack 2012

Microscan, a global technology leader in barcode, machine vision and lighting, will demonstrate its track, trace and control solutions for packaging at its booth # 4-545 in Hall 4 at the FachPack 2012 trade show in Nuremberg, 25 - 27 September.

Microscan's barcode and machine vision technology is used to monitor, track, and trace critical data in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and consumer goods packaging industries. On packaging lines, Microscan products can track production data, guide the movement of goods, ensure label print quality, guarantee correct label application, and enable final lot tracking.

Celebrating 30 years in the Auto ID and machine vision business, Microscan will showcase its product lines with live demonstrations. Visitors can see the new addition to Microscan's Visionscape I-PAK machine vision inspection system, the I-PAK SE2 Stainless Steel Enclosure, which is designed to meet the specific needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers. The I-PAK SE2 features the field-proven I-PAK interface in a new, sleek and compact box with a larger touch screen display and a more capable PC for easy operability and efficiency.

In addition to its powerful barcode readers, the company will also present applications using the Vision HAWK and Vision MINI smart cameras which feature easy set-up and operation with Microscan's intuitive AutoVISION software interface, including decode tools for reading barcodes and text (OCR), and inspection tools for cap alignment, label positioning, fill level verification, and more.
