Weatherchem Welcomes Product Application Engineer

Weatherchem is pleased to announce a new addition to our team.

Kristin Springer joins Weatherchem as our new Product Application Engineer. In this role, Kristin will be supporting our customers with technical expertise beginning with the closure selection process and continuing through the filling line. “Kristin brings a wealth of engineering experience to this position and will be a great resource for our customers as well as our internal team,” states Barry Daggett, director of engineering and product development.

For customers just beginning their packaging selection, Kristin provides guidance on appropriate bottle, closure and liner options and participates in product line validation, so that you can be assured your package will meet all established requirements. Kristin is available for technical support visiting customer filling lines where she can provide suggestions and actionable steps to help ensure a smooth production process. Kristin will make sure our customers receive accurate and up-to-date product drawings, as well as regulatory and compliance documentation supporting a closed loop sales system.

Kristin brings more than 15 years of engineering experience to Weatherchem. She worked for Little Tikes in positions that included Industrial/Mechanical Engineer and New Product Manufacturing Engineer. Most recently Kristin worked for Swagelok where she held several engineering positions. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Akron and an MBA from Kent State University. As customer needs are identified, Kristin is also involved in seeking out new products and solutions to best meet packaging challenges. “We are very excited to have Kristin on our team,” adds Daggett. “And, we know our customers will appreciate having this additional resource available to them."
