A Plant Within A Plant - ARPAC's New Automatic Stretch Focus Factory

ARPAC, a distinguished leader in the packaging machinery industry, introduces a new dedicated automatic stretch focus factory in response to its rapidly growing customer demands.

Recognizing that the automatic stretch business is a vital part of our continued growth strategy, ARPAC has built and implemented an ISO-9000:2008 automatic stretch focus factory that is up and running in Schiller Park, Illinois. The focus factory is vertically integrated with dedicated engineering, operations and material management. All employees are crosstrained, allowing for flexibility to support the dynamic needs of our customers.

The automatic stretch focus factory relies on visual manufacturing, work cells, Kanbans and various other lean tools to fuel success. The use of monitors for scheduling and automated purchasing are a few of the paperless processes driving efficiencies. This display of lean manufacturing in action is a cornerstone of ARPAC's guiding principles.

The automatic machines built in the factory are the PAC Series, the new POD systems, the new Electro-wrap, the new ARBOT and many more.
