Meggitt Sensing Systems Appoints Terry Weed as Vice President of Measurement Sales and Marketing

Meggitt Sensing Systems, a Meggitt group division, today announced the appointment of Mr. Terry Weed, a 30-year industry expert, as its new Vice President of Measurement Sales and Marketing.

In his new role, Mr. Weed will be responsible for all global sales and marketing, product management, customer service and applications engineering for the San Juan Capistrano, California-based Meggitt Sensing Systems Measurement group, ensuring the successful achievement of new market growth objectives within aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical, R&D and test and measurement sectors. In addition, he will be working closely with both engineering and operations on custom manufacturing offerings, continuous quality improvement and customer support initiatives and the successful integration of Endevco®, Sensorex, Vibro-Meter and Wilcoxon Research sensing technologies under one umbrella.

Mr. Weed's extensive experience has been gained through a progressive series of industry-specific leadership positions, most recently as the Director of Sales at Cherry Aerospace, and previously, as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Data Physics Corporation. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University at Fullerton, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University in Pomona.
