Pharmaceutics International Inc. (PII) Expands Commercial Manufacturing Capabilities

Pharmaceutics International Inc. (Pii), a leading contract development and manufacturing organization, has added an MG2 G140 capsule filler to its solid oral GMP manufacturing area.

The new equipment strengthens Pii's existing commercial manufacturing capabilities. Steve King, senior vice president of Pii stated, "Expanding our large scale manufacturing capabilities with the addition of the MG2 G140 demonstrates Pii's commitment to enhancing and growing the commercial services provided to our customers. This new capability allows us to better meet the needs of customers in the late and commercial stages of drug development."

The MG2 G140 capsule filler provides an output rate of up to 140,000 capsules per hour and can dose powder and pellets. This new equipment enables Pii to manufacture commercial products at a faster rate, therefore saving clients time and money during large scale manufacturing production.
