DDL to host Spring Product & Material Testing Seminar

DDL, a leader in medical device package, product and material testing, has confirmed that it will host its first Product & Material Seminar on Wednesday, April 13th at its headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN.

Methods to Evaluate the Materials Used in Your Sterile Barrier System for Shelf-Life Products, will take place in DDL's new space from 8 am to 12 pm and will include both a seminar presentation from DDL's Product and Material Engineer, Al Gale and interactive learning workshops on various test methods including Tensile Testing, Tear Testing, Shock/Fragility Testing and Puncture Testing.

"The program will include a presentation on DDL's abilities to help companies test the packaging material that protects their product as well as testing the medical device itself," Al Gale, Product & Material Engineer at DDL, said. "The workshops are intended to show how the tests themselves are performed and the differences between various test types."

The seminar is intended for medical device product & material engineers, supply chain managers, product engineers, and quality professionals.

Mr. Gale has more than 25 years of experience in the high tech manufacturing industry, supporting both products and customers. He has a keen insight into industry trends, standards and regulations. He guides customers on this type of testing on a daily basis and works one on one with clients to ensure the right test is conducted the first time. Mr. Gale is also very active within ASTM International.
