The association is committed to control system integration companies and their implementation of best practices that provide industrial manufacturers with a low-risk channel for the application of technology. Moriarty was recognized at CSIA's 16th annual Executive Conference recently held in Naples, Fla.

"Mark has contributed so much of his time and energy to promoting the values of CSIA both within Rockwell Automation and the end-user community," said Ed Diehl, executive board chair, CSIA. “He truly is a significant partner in supporting the efforts of our organization and is very deserving of this recognition."

In addition to volunteering his marketing background to promote CSIA's brand image, Moriarty was instrumental in motivating system integrators to complete the certification process, and has actively engaged end users to help them understand the advantages of leveraging CSIA-certified integrators.

“There is always risk when you hire a third party,” said Mark Moriarty, manager of System Integrator/Solution Provider programs, Rockwell Automation. “Certification helps reduce this risk as it identifies organizations that have proven to excel in important areas, such as project management, quality control and technical competency.”

Moriarty is also helping drive the adoption of CSIA certification through the Rockwell Automation Solution Provider program. The Solution Provider program, part of the company's PartnerNetwork framework, is open to system integrators that possess the knowledge, resources and skills required to deliver world-class manufacturing solutions to end users.
