Air shipping guide for dangerous goods

To help shippers comply with the latest regulations included in the 2009-2010 edition of the Intl. Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions, Labelmaster (www.labelmaster.com) has issued the A.I.R. Shipper "combo package."

It includes several hazardous material and regulatory compliance editions and guides for those shipping dangerous goods by air. A Labelmaster spokesperson says this information pertains to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biological product shipments, among others. The guide includes information required for compliance with upcoming revisions to the ICAO Technical Instructions. Among the major changes to the shipping requirements are the following: new labels for cargo aircraft-only consignments and environmental hazard materials; packing instructions, and markings; and changes to the dangerous goods list, including reclassifications, special provisions, and other changes. The pack may be ordered for $249 for standard-bound publications, or for $259 for spiral-bound publications by calling 800/621-5808, or through Labelmaster's Web site.
