Summit introduces Pharmaceutical Packaging Forum 2007

Presenters from Merck, Schering-Plough, and Cardinal Health will help Summit Publishing launch the Pharmaceutical Packaging Forum 2007, scheduled at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia Thursday, March 29, 2007.

The one-day peer-to-peer PPF conference will explore pharmaceutical packaging issues including overall equipment effectiveness, recent Joint Equipment Transition Team proposals and tips for specifying the flexible team, legal and regulatory issues and the Food and Drug Administration, counterfeiting, clinical trials, and the potential packaging implications posed by combination products and pharmacogenomics, or personalized medicine.

PPF will be a conference tailored specifically for pharmaceutical packaging professionals--not a pharmaceutical conference with a little packaging--and not a packaging conference with a little pharmaceutical topical matter. Rather, it's an entire day targeted to improving efficiency in your packaging operations. A luncheon and breaks will allow attendees ample time to network with their peers.

Who should attend? Packaging decision makers, including engineers, plant managers, purchasing agents, validation and regulation officials, package designers, quality control professionals, consultants, as well as packaging machinery and materials suppliers to the pharmaceutical, medical device, biologic, and related healthcare products markets.

The conference will be preceeded by an early Registration and Cocktail Reception at the Rittenhouse Hotel on Wednesday March 28th, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

For more information, contact Adriene Cooper, Events Manager, at 312/222-1010, ext. 136, or by e-mail at [email protected]. Visit www.packworld.com for updates on the PPF as they develop.
