How healthy is your salary?

Salaries for medical device and pharmaceutical packaging professionals compare favorably with those of their peers in the food, beverage, cosmetics, and chemicals industries. That's according to Packaging World magazine's 2005 salary survey, conducted earlier this year on PW's Web site, Packworld.com. Of the 131 packaging or end-user respondents, 21 identified themselves as pharmaceutical or medical device packagers. The charts here compare by percentage those respondents in pharma/medical packaging capacities vs the overall group, which includes professionals in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, cosmetics, and chemicals. More information is available on what provides respondents with the most job satisfaction and the least satisfaction, job changes they've experienced in the past year, what factors play the most critical role regarding their income, as well as their comparative geographic locations and education levels.
