New leadership this summer at Winpak Ltd.

Effective August 1, 2017, Winpak Ltd.’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Olivier Muggli will be heading up as the corporation as president and CEO. Muggli previously held a variety of senior management roles in Europe and North America, including vice president and managing director of Alcan’s food packaging division. He is succeeding the retiring Bruce Berry, who has been the president and CEO of Winpak for the past 14 years. Berry has been with the company for 41 years in total.

Winpak Ltd. manufactures and distributes high-quality packaging materials and related packaging machines. The company’s products are used primarily for the protection of perishable foods and beverages, and in healthcare applications.

 

BPA announces new addition

Nathan Lee has been named the new Northwest regional sales manager for BluePrint Automation. He has a 10 years of experience in industrial automation, with a specific focus in the food, paper and glass manufacturing sectors, and will be supporting BPA customers in the areas of tray and case packing, product conveyance and accumulation systems, as well as palletizing and stretch wrapping systems.

A world leader in packaging automation, BPA focuses on guided robotics, case and tray packing, and turnkey packaging systems.

 

Tetra Pak expanding services for food and beverage manufacturers

Tetra Pak is now providing end-to-end solutions to help food and beverage manufacturers achieve world-class manufacturing operations. The full array of offerings includes a variety of products and services, such as consumables, upgrades, personnel evaluation and customized training, remote equipment monitoring and remote support, and consulting. They are available for plants that use Tetra Pak processing and packaging equipment, as well as other brands.
