B. Braun’s OEM Division has expanded its selection of bags for solutions as part of its complete medical device contracting manufacturing capabilities.

The bags are available in both standard and custom configurations in sizes ranging from 100 mL to 4,000 mL. They are fabricated from biocompatible materials (either EVA white or yellow) in single-layer or multi-layer options.

The expanded line of bags can have either one or two chambers; the two-chamber model allows aseptic filling and separate storage solutions until ready for use. They offer changeable ports according to the type of filling and specific customer requests. Customized printing is also available.

The bags complement B. Braun OEM’s existing Excel® and Pab® containers and Duplex® containers. B. Braun’s OEM Division can supply tubing, valves, catheters, and other components to provide a fully functional fluid administration set. The company also offers engineering assistance, packaging, sterilization, and other services.

The bags are manufactured in B. Braun’s FDA-registered medical device production site in Mirandola, Italy, which has state-of-the-art technologies and adheres to international quality standards. The plant also manufactures other U.S.-distributed medical devices.
