New medical-grade, flame-retardant ColorRx products offer biocompatibility and chemical resistance.

Infinity LTL Engineered Compounds has introduced its new ISO 10993−compliant compounds. These compounds can be based on polycarbonate, PC/ABS, or PC/polyester alloys and are part of the company’s ColorRx® product line.

ColorRx PA-2000RX (the PC/ABS alloy) and ColorRx PCT1000FRRX (the PC/polyester alloy) are both UL listed as self-extinguishing. In addition to ISO 10993 compliance and UL listing, the ColorRx PCT1000FRRX offers improved chemical resistance. Infinity LTL provides fully supported testing for biocompatibility and chemical resistance.

These compounds can be custom formulated and are available globally. They can be made in a range of custom colors and are also characterized by short lead times with no minimum order restrictions.
