Most of us know The Onion for its satirical quips on trending news stories. Well this time it’s the healthcare packaging world that’s the butt of the joke. In the wake of law enforcement cracking down on pharma execs that aggressively pushed the sales of highly addictive painkillers, The Onion posted a faux article poking fun at the opioid epidemic and the lack of accountability displayed by the drug manufacturers.
