NJM, a ProMach product brand, introduces the CFE tablet counter at PACK EXPO Las Vegas in Booth N-5900. Integrating NJM’s proven bottle handling and controls with Cremer counting technology, this compact solid-dose counting and filling system is ideal for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers and contract packers seeking to minimize fill room size and operating costs. Delivering high capacities of up to 200 bottles per minute, the CFE achieves 100 percent counting accuracy and extreme flexibility at an accessible price point.
“We designed the CFE to address the industry’s growing demand for high-speed tablet counting in space-constrained environments,” said Mark Laroche, Vice President of Sales for NJM. “By leveraging our team's integration expertise and our 35-year partnership with Cremer, we've created a solution that delivers proven counting reliability with a quick ROI. This cost-effective system broadens our tablet counting portfolio, giving customers more options across different operational and budget requirements.”
The CFE can count a wide variety of coated and uncoated tablets, capsules and softgels and can fill round, oval and rectangular bottles made of plastic or glass. Available with three or four counting modules and six discharge channels, the CFE allows manufacturers and packagers to start with three modules and easily add a fourth in the field as production needs grow.
NJM’s CFE tablet counter is engineered with a modular configuration and electromagnetic vibration to simplify the machine architecture and minimize cost. Featuring a feedscrew infeed and intermittent-motion bottle handling and filling, the system uses a large bulk hopper with volumetric servo-driven feeder, multi-stage vibratory plates and vibration feedback control to optimize product separation and flow. NJM's servo-driven bottle handling and vibratory dipping nozzles ensure smooth, consistent filling and help prevent nozzle blockage.
The integrated HMI provides a single point of control for both tablet counting and bottle handling. Designed with a PackML-compliant architecture, the system adheres to 21 CFR Part 11 requirements and features configurable security settings, audit trails and optional OPC readiness for transmitting OEE data to higher-level systems.
NJM's bottle handling platform provides seamless infeed, rejection and outfeed transitions, supporting full integration with upstream and downstream equipment. Depending on line configuration, NJM can provide up to 40 feet of uninterrupted conveyor to incorporate unscramblers, desiccant inserters, cappers, metal detectors and more without any bottle transfers.
NJM delivers a “total solution” approach with comprehensive protocols, turnkey line integration services and world-class aftersales support including warranties, preventative maintenance programs, onsite installation, training and ongoing service.
