ProSys Fill, LLC announces the RT90 tube filling and sealing system, a high-speed unit that can fill up to 90 tubes per minute. The compact eight-station dial fills a variety of tube sizes and styles, and both plastic and metal tubes can be filled using one system. Featuring flexibility, reliability, and accuracy, the system is ideal for pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food applications, as well as those in adhesives and sealants, greases, personal care, and animal health markets.
The RT90 features fully automatic tube filling and closing, which reduces labor requirements. The eight-station indexing dial is supplied as standard, but additional stations can be added as required. The system is available in plastic/laminate, metal, or combo models; the combo model saves time by filling both plastic and metal containers with a few simple station changes.
With its hot air tube sealing technology, the RT90 offers the fastest plastic tube sealing method and works with all plastic and laminate tubes with diameters ranging from ⅜-inch to 2 ⅜-inch. Also available are custom profile seals and textures for unique tube presentations. Swirl filling and custom fill profiles can produce effects that give products desirable shelf impact. Unit dose filling offers the flexibility of filling small tubes on the same system.
The RT90 system’s speed of operation enables pinpoint control of the fill to maximize efficiency, fill control and accuracy of the servo index, load, tube seat, orient lift and spin. The system’s recipe saving and recall feature lets users quickly adjust for changeovers, saving time by accommodating multiple parameters for multiple size tubes and fill parameters.
The RT90 system includes a tube bulk bin, load ramp, orient, fill station and closure stations for plastic, laminate or aluminum tubes. Service and on-line support via ethernet results in faster service and less downtime.
