“Serialization in a Box,” is a complete turnkey solution that identifies, applies, and captures the data needed for compliance with California’s upcoming 2015 e-pedigree mandate. Acsis combines its industry-leading serialization software with best-of-breed material handling, vision and printing equipment to create an enterprise serialization solution that is robust, cost-effective, and easy to maintain. The Serialization in a Box solution includes Acsis Serialization Management Software, material handling equipment from Omega Design Group, product marking from Domino, and Cognex Vision and ID products.
The Acsis Serialization in a Box solution applies and captures serialization data at the unit, bundle, carton, and pallet level, so pharmaceutical companies can comply with all domestic and international serialization mandates. The solution provides easy-to-use serialization functionality for managing both serialized and non-serialized product simultaneously; aggregating and de-aggregating product across all packaging levels; and the commissioning and decommissioning of serialized data as needed and in real time.
Serialization in a Box includes two software modules: Site Management and Line Management. Acsis Site Management provides a flexible serialization architecture with robust functionality, regardless of the ERP, serialization repository, vision technologies and packaging automation deployed across the manufacturer’s operation.
The Acsis Line Management solution provides oversight and management of an individual packaging line. When there are multiple packaging lines within one facility, Acsis Line Management integrates with the Site Management solution in order to provide bi-directional transfer of information between the site and the line level.
The implementation of Acsis Serialization in a Box is completely streamlined, because Acsis manages the entire deployment process as well as post-implementation support, giving the end user one trusted and proven point of contact from start to finish. Acsis provides 30 years of experience and domain expertise in designing, developing, integrating, implementing and supporting enterprise software and hardware solutions for Fortune 500 manufacturers with large transaction volumes.
