A recent article from The Intercept_ discussed the Biden administration’s exploration of psychedelic treatments for PTSD and depression. A federal letter revealed that Biden anticipates approval for MDMA and psilocybin as designated breakthrough therapies. The correspondence dates back to May, but was just recently shared with the public. Apparently the administration is exploring the idea of creating a federal task force to monitor psychedelic treatment developments. The full letter can be seen here.
