It’s no secret that virtually everyone on earth needs a vaccine for COVID-19, but imagine having to organize the development, production, and distribution. According to a recent FiercePharma article, the drugmaker has raised its 2021 base-case production estimate from 500 million to 600 million doses, and could potentially hit 1 billion doses. The massive supply goals are in response to increased demand as Moderna recently received expanded orders from Canada, the U.S. and the EU.
