Global view of aseptic packaging

A new study reports that aseptically packaged products have grown by more than 6% since 2003. Asia, at 13% annually, has grown fastest.

White drinking milk accounts for more than 45% of aseptically packaged products, says the 2009 Zenith & Warrick Report on Global Aseptic Packaging. Watch for growth in aseptically packaged baby food. The study also notes that while cartons account for about 75% of the aseptic packaging market, they've begun to lose market share to pouches and PET bottles.
