In addition to HDPE, V4230 ink, from coding, marking, and printing solutions manufacturer Videojet, exhibits excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance when printed on many challenging materials found in CPG packaging, such as LDPE, PE, and PP. The ink also performs well on plastic pipes, wire and cable insulation, and flexible films, in addition to acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), aluminum, polystyrene, polyvinylchloride (PVC), polycarbonate, polyester, steel and nylon. V4230 is resistant to many acids, bases, mineral spirits and oils.

Videojet V4230 ink is compliant with the Swiss Food Packaging Ordinance and it does not contain any materials included on the European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA) Exclusion List.

According to Sherry Washburn, Videojet Supplies Business Unit Manager, “Videojet is pleased to offer this ink that meets customer demands for superior adhesion. It is specifically engineered for use in productive and easy-to-use Videojet CIJ printers, like the Videojet 1580, to produce high-quality codes, text, expiration dates, logos and bar codes, including 2D DataMatrix, even at high speeds and in continuous production environments.”
