Pw 4854 Control Tech
The Digitax ST features two expansion slots that accept optional snap-in Solution Modules (SMs). Users can install any combination of SMs to customize the drive to accommodate the fieldbus best suited for the application requirements. Fieldbus communication can be separated into Real Time and Non-Real Time categories. The flexibility of the Digitax ST’s modular design easily accommodates common industrial fieldbus types and provides scalability as application needs change and future capabilities are released. Upgrading modules versus replacing an entire drive provides a cost effective means of updating packaging systems with minimal downtime.
