This year, groninger’s demonstrations will be focused around the cosmetic industry. groninger’s booth will be located in the north hall of the Las Vegas convention center (N-306) and will include two flexible machines named the Crème 60 and lite series. Each of these machines meet different market demands with their specific technical capabilities.

Flexibility and efficiency are required to reduce the time-to-market and to be able to meet customer requirements. "The cosmetics market is changing", says Heiner Dornburg, Managing Director groninger USA LLC. "The trend is towards smaller batch sizes and personalized cosmetics, and so our customers have ask for more agile machine concepts with minimal changeover times”, says Dornburg.

One of the show machines is known as the "Creme 60". The Creme 60 is a highly accurate monoblock filling and capping solution for processing cream jars, make-up bottles, airless containers, mini-dispensers, mini-rollers and lotion bottles. The machine has filling and closing capabilities of up to 60 units per minute. "Our Creme 60 is part of groninger’s business-line concept and carries on the ready-engineered philosophy of groninger," explains Dornburg. It offers short delivery times and versatility (500 configuration options). Additionally, the Creme 60’s compact design is a perfect fit for multiple puck sizes and or multiple puck-less configurations. These are just a few of the key benefits of the Creme 60.

To suit the increasing number of start-up companies and CMOs to the market, groninger offers the precise and cost effective solution: The "lite series". This smaller foot print machine was developed especially for the US market and is built entirely in the USA. It is a precise and starter system for the filling of cosmetic products.

The lite series can be easily adapted to different production requirements. Quick and easy to convert, Heiner Dornburg summarizes the advantages of the compact machine series and adds, "And best of all, our site in Charlotte is nearby. That means we are with a local manufacturing, services and support quickly on the spot.”
