Tom Michalsen named Vice President of Marketing at Weber Packaging Solutions

Tom’s career at Weber began in 1981 after majoring in marketing at Western Illinois University and receiving his Bachelors of Business degree. As Media Products Manager, Tom was responsible for the product development, pricing and marketing of the company’s label products. For the last nine years, Tom has served as Director of Marketing, overseeing Weber’s product marketing, marketing communications, and price administration groups.

In Tom’s new expanded role, he will be responsible for executing marketing and communication strategies to build wider awareness of the Weber product line; creating marketing plans that support sales growth; increasing Weber’s revenue and market share; and executing programs and approaches that differentiate Weber from its competitors.

His wealth of knowledge about all things Weber, coupled with his extensive product know-how, will be sure to position Weber for future growth.
