Klöckner Pentaplast Thailand starts up new production line

Klöckner Pentaplast, a global leader in rigid plastic film and packaging solutions, has added a new PET production line in Thailand located at Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong.

With this strategic investment, Klöckner Pentaplast in Thailand responds to the rising demand for PET packaging solutions from the food industry. Fifteen employees will work on the new production line in Rayong. “Demand for single and multilayer food packaging is growing very quickly”, stated Giles Peacock, Group Senior Vice President Food and Consumer Packaging. “We invested in the new production line which enables us to fulfill the high expectations for standard and high quality films for the local Thai market.”

Klöckner Pentaplast has a long experience in food films globally and has added this new production line to serve the rising demand for electronic and food packaging in Thailand. To support the growth of main customers in Asia and the Middle East, Klöckner Pentaplast has more than 200 employees in Thailand. The company has a dedicated sales force working hand in hand with brand owners, packaging experts and converters to help ensure success.
