TricorBraun, a leading developer and supplier of glass and rigid plastic packaging, continues to expand the team that manages its extensive supply chain and the warehousing and distribution capabilities that support it. Most recently, Leo Zweig has been appointed Director of Supply Chain in the Western Division of the country. Zweig joins TricorBraun from Roll Global LLC, a diverse company involved in consumer packaged goods, agriculture, and other interests, where he was Director of Global Sourcing. He will be based in the Los Angeles TricorBraun office.

“Leo adds valuable experience to our team,” said Mark Polivka, TricorBraun Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Management, in announcing Zweig’s appointment. “His years of experience in strategic planning, global sourcing and leadership in supply chain management will help us as we continue to strengthen and deepen our management team.”

This follows the appointment earlier this year of Colleen Ooten as Director of Supply Chain Management in TricorBraun’s Central Division. Ooten joined TricorBraun from Diageo, a consumer products company specializing in spirits.

Zweig and Ooten will be two of three Directors of Supply Chain aligned with each TricorBraun Division and will be responsible for integrating with the Divisional Executive Vice President, the three Regional Vice Presidents and the more than thirty-five Packaging Consultants in each Division.

These new positions have been created to support TricorBraun’s operations by further strengthening the established relationships among the company, its customers and its vendors to maximize value in the marketplace for each of them. Zweig’s and Ooten’s roles will include coordinating new technologies and new materials brought to TricorBraun by its suppliers with the changing needs of its customers and the consumers they serve.
