Interpack 2014 was a very satisfying experience – Manuela Gamberini, Sales & Marketing Manager, says – a double breakthrough for MG2, in both process and packaging fields, which is the outcome of three years of efforts. On the one hand, we have updated more than half or our processing machines’ line, also implementing new important models. On the other hand, we have extended the range of packaging solutions, following the market’s evolution. Today, MG2’s offer is wide and diversified, based on flexible and modular solutions, suitable to meet all requirements in the Pharma field.
Innovative models for pharmaceutical Process
The new TEKNA capsule filler earned an impressive success; suitable for the production of hard shell capsules filled with powders, even low dosages, TEKNA was appreciated for its small footprint as well as for its modularity (the machine – which was specifically designed for containment applications – is also available as a basic version, without isolator and WiP/CiP). The main point of strength of MG2’s brand new capsule filler is the MultiNETT “in-process” 100% net weight control system, the most advanced solution available on the market, as well as the “No capsule – no dosage” feature.
Great interest was also shown in Selekta, a machine which checks the weight and selects up to 500.000 tablets per hour, depending on the dimension, shape and coating of the product; this machine will soon be available as a counting unit too.
Packaging
MG2’s packaging solutions were very appreciated as well, especially the track&trace of the “ACE” series: the models shown – ACE BT/300 for bottles and ACE CT/400 for cartons – will soon be followed by the upcoming ACE BN/30 for bundles. Compactness is the strong point of MG2’s solutions for traceability, enabling these machines to be easily integrated to existing packaging lines, while the great modularity allows to employ several vision systems, with different configurations depending on the marking and verification performances required. The “ACE” series can handle a very wide range of sizes and shapes.
