The Sindusfarma industrial association’s members represent 85 percent of the Brazilian pharmaceuticals market. This year Gerresheimer Plásticos São Paulo Ltda. will be accepting its 13th award in tribute to the quality of its plastic containers and closures for solid and liquid medications.

The Sindusfarma Quality Awards are the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry’s ‘Oscars’. They are presented to suppliers of packaging materials, raw materials, machines and equipment, appliances and instruments, and also to service providers. The winners are selected in a two phase process. The first phase involves an online voting facility which enables all Sindusfarma members to submit one vote each. In the second phase, Sindusfarma validates the vote counts in an audit and checks the company employees’ qualifications and its quality system.
