John Blum, of Experience Based Solutions, LLC, has joined Montesino as a senior consultant, bringing 40 years of experience in polymers, films and packaging.
John’s broad experience broadens Montesino’s capabilities to support clients in the technical areas of polymers, films and packaging and product development. During the past 16 years at Honeywell, John built a global application Development team and the materials/thermoforming knowledge base to support pharmaceutical packaging with thermoforming optimization, root cause analysis, barrier prediction, lamination, and materials selection. Prior to Honeywell he spent 24 years working with APET, PBT, PETG, PVC, Barex, ASA, PP, and COC manufacturing films and filaments using extrusion, blown film double bubble, and calendering processes.
