TricorBraun will direct a $2,500 prize to provide financial assistance for the study of package engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, Mo. The funds will be awarded for the 2013 academic year and are part of the Future Leaders In Packaging scholarship program.
TricorBraun, one of North America’s largest providers of bottles, jars, and other rigid packaging components, was given the opportunity to award financial aid as a result of winning a contest in which packaging professionals were invited to vote for their favorite suppliers. TricorBraun was the winner in the distributor category, and it was given the opportunity to select the school to receive the Future Leaders scholarship funds.
TricorBraun’s primary focus is on designing, sourcing and supplying rigid packaging components for personal care; cosmetics; healthcare; food and beverages; as well as industrial and household chemicals. It has more than 40 offices globally and has one of the largest inventories of rigid packaging components worldwide.
Prize money used to fund the Future Leaders In Packaging scholarship is provided by Packaging World.
