Medical Fair India 2013 to feature U.S. Pavilion

First the first time, Messe Dusseldorf North American will organize a U.S.

Pavilion at MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2013, 19th International Exhibition and Conference on Diagnostic, Medical Technology, Rehabilitation, Medical Equipment and Components. To take place from March 8 - 10, 2013 in New Delhi, India, the event will be organized by Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt. Ltd. Messe Düsseldorf is renowned as the producer of MEDICA, the world's leading international medical trade fair held annually in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This U.S. Pavilion provides a cost-effective means for companies to enter into or to expand their business in the lucrative overseas marketplace. The all-inclusive turnkey package includes a fully furnished booth, access to the pavilion's exhibitor lounge area with daily snack and beverage service and the on-site services of a project manager.

MEDICA FAIR INDIA has shown remarkable growth over the past five years and the last staging in March of this year attracted 322 exhibitors from 17 countries (+ 115%) and more than 6,700 trade visitors from 30 countries (+ 87%). With Messe Düsseldorf's expertise and knowledge of the Indian market, MEDICAL FAIR INDIA will continue to grow and remain India's leading trade fair for the medical sector.

At the US DOC certified event, exhibitors will present the latest developments for the medical industry, ranging from medical, diagnostics and laboratory equipment to pathology and physiotherapy technology as well as hospital/clinic furnishings and communication/information technology.

Held annually - alternating between New Delhi and Mumbai - , MEDICAL FAIR INDIA provides the best platform for companies to cover the enormous Indian healthcare market and to take advantage of the potential of these two large metropolitan areas with their growing demand and rising investments in the public and private healthcare sector. Due to the size of the domestic market, the strong economic growth, increasing income and huge demand backlog, India is one of the most important growth markets for medical technology. By 2013, the market is expected to almost double from about $ 3 billion (2010) to $ 5 billion. The country's high dependency on imports (60%) also provides excellent opportunities for international medical technology companies in the future.

The visitors at MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2013 will include physicians, veterinarians, dentists, physiotherapists, biologists, chemists, hospital directors and managers as well as distributors and representatives from universities and government agencies.
