DuPont™ Cyrel® was the image carrier of choice for five of the eight Best of Show winners and all Best of Show winners submitted by North American companies.
The five winners were:
• Narrow Web: Labelad Ltd. - Canada
• Mid-Web: Plastic Packaging, Inc. - U.S.
• Wide Web: Ampac Paper Inc. - U.S.
• Corrugated: Advance Packaging Corp. (Through Printron Engravers) - U.S.
• Preprinted Linerboard: Rock -Tenn Co. - U.S.
"Again this year, the FTA Excellence Awards demonstrated just how far flexographic printing has come and the world-class quality that flexo is capable of," stated Wendy Andrushko, North American director of sales for DuPont Packaging Graphics. "We are also delighted to note that this is the first time that a Best of Show was awarded to a Cyrel® Round user - printed by Plastic Packaging, Inc. with sleeves imaged by Southern Graphics Systems - and were very pleased that, once again, a high percentage of the award winners were printed with DuPont™ Cyrel®.
