The event will be held on 15 March at Biogen Idec in Cambridge, Massachusetts USA. The program will heavily reference the recently released, FDA-reviewed ISPE Baseline® Guide: Water and Steam Systems (Second Edition) , the industry's most widely-read and respected guide on pharmaceutical water systems. The event will bring together the international team of experts responsible for writing the ISPE Water Baseline Guide.
Titled “The Latest Standards in Pharmaceutical Water: We Wrote the Book,” this event will present a rare opportunity for attendees to interact with some of the world's foremost experts on pharmaceutical water and steam systems. The program will cover the past 10 years of water and steam system innovation from these experts' point-of-view. Participants will learn how to apply these innovations to their daily work.
The event will feature an introductory track aimed at Young Professionals and those new to pharmaceutical water concepts, as well as an advanced track for experienced professionals who want to broaden their knowledge. Topics covered in the introductory track will include water quality options, pretreatment equipment considerations and final treatment, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical waters. The advanced track will cover microbial considerations, rouge, instrumentation and sampling, steam systems and ozone used in pharmaceutical water systems.
The event is presented jointly by ISPE International, the ISPE Boston Area Chapter, and the ISPE Critical Utilities Community of Practice. Complete schedule, speaker and registration information can be found here.
