Schneider is FANUC Award Recipient

Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc., FANUC's largest integrator in the case packing and palletizing segment in North America, is honored to receive four additional FANUC Awards for innovation in use of Robotics as well as sales volumes.

“Schneider continues to embrace FANUC's latest technology to develop innovative robotic packaging solutions for their customers, says Dick Motley, account manager, National Distribution Sales, FANUCRobotics America. Schneider achieved by far the highest success in 2010 among FANUC Robotics' integrators with the M-1iA, one of FANUC's latest delta robots, for which Schneider was recently awarded the “M-1iA Outstanding Sales Achievement” trophy. In addition, in recognition of their expertise and proficiency in vision-assisted applications using FANUC Robotics iRVision built-in vision system, Schneider received the “Excellence in Intelligent Robotics” award. As FANUC Robotics' highest-volume packaging-oriented integrator, Schneider was also recognized with a “Sales Excellence” award. Finally, and perhaps most impressively, Schneider accepted their fifth consecutive “Outstanding Sales Growth” trophy, which is awarded to FANUC Robotics' integrators who achieve a minimum of 50 percent growth in robot unit sales over the prior year.”

In February, Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc. was recognized by FANUC Robotics America as the leading supplier of FANUC robotic automation in the Americas when it sold its 100,000th robot in North and South America to Schneider. The sale underscores the fact that more companies are using robotic technology to expand their overall operations versus transferring manufacturing overseas.

“Schneider is proud of the continued strong relationship we enjoy with FANUC Robotics America and is pleased to celebrate all the significant achievements using FANUC robots in 2010,” says Terry Zarnowski, Director of Sales and Marketing, Schneider Packaging. “Schneider is committed to consistently creating innovative robotic end-of-line solutions that deliver significant value to customers in terms of performance, uptime, quality, energy efficiency, and quick-changeover flexibility.”
