Informex and CMS Pharma Present Inaugural CEO Summit of Pharma Manufacturing

First annual CEO Summit will provide forum for senior industry executives to discuss business strategies and trends in Custom Manufacturing of pharmaceutical ingredients.

Informex and CMS Pharma announced the first annual CEO Summit of Pharma Manufacturing, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, on February 6th 2011, one day prior to the opening of the annual flagship InformexUSA event. The invitation only summit will bring together the leading CEOs and Business Unit Executives in the Contract Manufacturing and Contract Research sectors to discuss business strategies and industry trends, while providing a high level networking forum.

"By holding the CEO Summit a day before the exhibition begins, we are able to provide an additional, value adding resource for our VIP attendees at InformexUSA and aim to make this a must-attend annual networking event for high level executives within the Pharma Contract Services sector," commented Jennifer Jessup, Global Brand Director of Informex. CMS Pharma will deliver high quality and original content for the half day event and will facilitate the discussion among senior industry figures. The summit will review what has happened in the past several years as well as future projections for the Contract Manufacturing industry.

Discussion topics will focus on top industry trends, fundamental shifts in pharma Custom Manufacturing and will examine how CEOs can leverage these to the benefit of their respective companies. Specific topics will include:
Market trends over the past five years and the rise of India as API manufacturing hub

Path forward for the custom manufacturing industry

To participate in the summit, guests must be a CEO or Pharma Business Segment head and their company must either be an attendee or exhibitor at InformexUSA.
