Catalent's director of global security has been awarded membership in the American Society for Industrial Security, Pharmaceutical Security Council

The Pharmaceutical Security Council aims to be a progressive source of information and leadership on issues affecting the industry. The Council promotes leadership and cooperation, serving as an industry resource by establishing, developing, and promoting programs of excellence in all areas of security applicable to the pharmaceutical industry. For the past three years, Mr. Duffield has also been an active Steering Group member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Security Forum (UK) with strong links in Europe.

“Being a member of working groups such as the ASIS and the Pharmaceutical Industry Security Forum (UK) will enable Catalent to keep up-to-date and informed on all security-related issues, which will ultimately benefit our customers. Security is very important to Catalent since we produce many vital medicines globally for the world's largest and most innovative pharma companies.” said Mr. Duffield.

Mr. Duffield has worked in security for Catalent for the past eight years and has participated in a number of global initiatives including the development of Catalent's security and business continuity programs and the company's supply chain security initiatives. Catalent's Global security team have made significant improvements to the company's security programs in recent months, which continues to drive excellence and global compliance.
