Lonza Selects WAM Supply Chain Planning Solution for Sales & Operations Planning

WAM Systems, a provider of supply chain planning solutions designed for process manufacturers, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to implement its supply chain planning solution in support of Lonza's global life science and pharmaceutical operations.

WAM Systems was selected to implement their advanced planning system in support of Lonza's global demand management and sales & operations planning processes. The solution will begin rolling out in 2010 in a phased approach addressing demand planning and sales & operations planning supporting a user community of over 300 global users in marketing, distribution, manufacturing, and purchasing. The project was approved after a rigorous selection process by Lonza's project team.
