MTS and Cool Logistics will be exhibiting together at the upcoming 8th Cold Chain Distribution for Pharmaceuticals Global Forum.
According to Kevin Lawler, vice president of sales for MTS, the expanded partnership will provide customers with access to MTS' technology, regardless of their geography, at competitive prices that are based on local manufacturing, inventory and lead times.“ Our capability to support clients locally with technical and engineering support will be stronger,” continued Lawler. “Our customers will have the opportunity to work with one provider from conception to implementation for all of their cold chain requirements.”
In addition to learning more about how their organizations can benefit from this new partnership, attendees at the show will have the opportunity to hear Bill Mayer, MTS' director of engineering, and Michael Kreuze, principal engineer at Pfizer, Inc., speak on Tuesday, September 21, as they present “Solving Unique Cold Chain Challenges through Available Technology and Innovative Reusable Container Designs While Gaining a Return on your Investment.” Mayer and Kreuze will discuss the solution process and qualification of an international, low-temperature, reusable thermal shipper container.
MTS will have several products on display at the show, including the enhanced features of Credo Encore, the company's premiere reverse logistics software. Designed to trace the location and monitor the condition of MTS' temperature-controlled thermal shippers, the web-based application is straightforward and easy to use, and allows MTS' customers an unprecedented view into the distribution of valuable assets. MTS is partnering with delivery companies such as Federal Express to provide immediate updates on pickup and delivery of the shipping units.
Also on display will be MTS' new and improved website. The site has a refreshed look, improved functionality and several new features that will better serve customers. One enhanced feature of the site is the Solution Finder, which assists customers in identifying product solutions at all levels. In addition, company updates will now be posted directly on the home page.
The 8th Cold Chain Distribution for Pharmaceuticals Global Forum will be held September 20-23, 2010, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
