“This collaboration will add to the already close relationships and excellent communication Catalent shares with its customers,” said Roy Satchell, Catalent's Senior Vice President, Information Technology, and Chief Information Officer. “Our customers need strategic partners that can operate seamlessly with them in the execution of supply chain solutions. This collaboration provides that and more—enhancing visibility, improving supply network predictability and facilitating the incorporation of strategic solutions as part of global supply planning.”

TraceLink and Catalent designed the initial solution based on customer requirements for increased information and integration. Catalent will work closely with customers to drive continuous improvement of both the service and the value generated by the capabilities.

“Our integrate-once, inter-operate with everyone approach uniquely enables Catalent and its customers to seamlessly share data and execution in a single manner,” said Shabbir Dahod, President and CEO of TraceLink, “Catalent's industry leadership and passion for the customer makes them an ideal partner.”

Catalent plans to continuously evolve the collaboration program based on customer feedback of data sharing and business process collaboration needs. The program will be progressively launched throughout its network starting in Q3 2010.
