Shippers Warehouse Becomes The Shippers Group

New name reflects the evolving service offering of the company to a broad range of logistics and supply chain management services including co-packing and e-commerce order fulfillment.

Shippers Warehouse has changed its name to The Shippers Group. Thought of for decades as a premiere regional warehouse company in Texas, The Shippers Group today is a national logistics provider with 4.5 million sq ft of space in 11 locations from coast-to coast.

"Several positive changes have occurred at The Shippers Group within the past 12 months. Our name change and rebranding is aligned with our strategic focus and standards of the company," says Rob Doyle, President.

In the past five years, The Shippers Group has experienced substantial growth in its public and contract warehouse operations in the food and consumer goods industries, as well as automotive, packaging and e-commerce. Earlier this year, The Shippers Group opened a new 540,000 sq-ft distribution center in Austell, GA, bringing the total square footage in the Atlanta market to over 1 million sq ft.

Construction of another new facility is also underway in Dallas, which is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2018.
