Before the HDA’s Traceability Seminar, the Verify Brand team will speak at OPTEL’s What’s Beyond Serialization event, which is intended to educate attendees about serialization trends and the future of manufacturing. OPTEL’s hosts will share their insights about what’s coming next in smart manufacturing and serialization and traceability, and how pharma and life sciences organizations can prepare for the digitalization of their operations.
During the OPTEL event, Verify Brand’s Senior Vice President, Haris Kamal, will speak about how pharmaceutical companies can use rich serialization data to improve supply chain and overall business operations. During his presentation, “Leveraging Serialization to Create a Smarter Supply Chain,” Kamal will explain how pharma organizations can go beyond current global compliance requirements and use insights generated from supply chain serialization data to enable efficient decision-making, such as:

- Information about a product’s history from commissioning to packing to shipping, and
- Product diversion to decrease parallel trade.
