Apple has been inching further into health care space for years now. In 2017, the company launched its Heart Study app, which identifies irregular heart rhythms. A recent CNET article reported on their latest medical development: One Drop blood glucose monitors will now be available at some U.S. Apple stores.

The One Drop device connects to a user’s iPhone or Apple Watch to help diabetics monitor their blood sugar levels. It’s currently the only product of its kind available at Apple’s brick-and-mortar stores, though Apple had previously offered it on their website. The kit, which carries a sticker price of $69.95, includes a blood glucose meter that takes readings, and an app that gathers data and links to Apple’s Health app. It also comes with a year of unlimited diabetes coaching.
