LL Flex – a global leader in high-performance, paper, film and metals-based laminates for packaging and industrial solutions, will realign its executive management team and focus its assets in core markets following Centre Lane Partners’ (CLP) sale of the Oracle Packaging business in Winston-Salem. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, LL Flex will remain a part of the CLP portfolio of companies and industry veteran Victor Dixon has been appointed CEO. The company plans on allocating resources to support continued growth, expansion into new lines of business and development of innovative laminated materials solutions for the wire & cable, tobacco, building & construction, and specialty markets.

Mr. Dixon brings many years of experience to LL Flex, with a particular emphasis on operating and accelerating growth in global packaging and industrial materials solutions. Dixon has held a number of senior executive roles with both private equity backed and public companies, including spending a significant portion of his career with Alcoa/Reynolds where he previously led businesses in the legacy company’s wire & cable, flexible packaging and aluminum converting segments.

LL Flex has a growing customer base and broad sales network throughout North and South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Operating for decades out of its manufacturing plant in Louisville, the centralized management team at LL Flex will now be able to fully focus on serving its customers and growing the business by providing materials solutions in a range of markets.

In the wire & cable industry, the company produces the industry leading brand Reyshield™ Cable Wrap line of mono layer film formulations using uniform, high quality resins throughout the structure for consistent, reliable long-term performance.

For tobacco companies, LL Flex is North America's largest supplier of cigarette inner bundling material, as well as custom-printed laminations for cigar, pipe and smokeless tobacco.

In the building & construction sector, LL Flex provides a full line of laminated insulation and radiant barrier facers designed to meet the industry's exacting requirements for gas & moisture barrier, product adhesion, reflectivity, durability and longevity.

In the specialty segment, products include foil and paperboard laminates for scratch off lottery ticket stock, foil board for folding carton applications and foil laminated board for push through blister cards in the medical and healthcare industries.

Mr. Dixon’s first duty as CEO will be overseeing what promises to be a seamless transition and a continuation of the company’s robust plans for growth. LL Flex does not anticipate significant changes to its manufacturing operations, nor any modifications to existing supplier agreements. For customers and vendors alike, the most visible change will be the refreshed corporate logo and a more market-focused website www.llflex.com.

Mr. Dixon’s onboarding and integration into the company has been a reunion of sorts as he is extremely familiar with what is now LL Flex’s Louisville facility from his prior tenure with Alcoa/Reynold’s packaging and aluminum converting business. In addition, he has years of materials solutions and packaging experience – most recently as President & COO of Rondo-Pak, an affiliate company of German based Korber AG. His previous roles with companies such as Catalent, LTV/Copperweld and Menasha/Cortegra will also allow him to draw upon his global business expertise and knowledge of international sourcing and supply chain logistics to further solidify LL Flex’s strong supplier and customer relationships.

“The LL Flex management and sales teams are dedicated to providing premier service and best-in-class quality to our customers around the world,” said Dixon. “Our focus remains squarely on providing industry-leading solutions to our customers and continued innovation in packaging and industrial laminates. I look forward to leading our team of talented professionals as LL Flex expands its market reach, manufacturing capabilities and global footprint.”
