World's First Wireless, Single-Use Pulse Oximeter

The medical device is completely disposable, eliminating the need for sterilization and significantly reducing the risks of cross contamination.

A California-based medical device start-up has introduced the world's first wireless, continuous, fully disposable, single-use pulse oximeter.

Created by True Wearables, the Oxxiom measures arterial oxygen saturation, pulse rate and perfusion index.

The device is designed to combine the electronics and biosensing technology of a clinical grade pulse oximeter into a tiny, easy-to-use, and completely wireless device that offers over 24 hours of continuous monitoring.

Oxxiom weighs only 0.12 ounces and is completely disposable, eliminating the need for sterilization and significantly reducing the risks of cross contamination.
