The Marchesini Integra220 is a robotized integrated blister line. It integrates a single Monoblock into two operations of blister thermoforming and cartoning.
The line is divided in two sections, each controlled by its own independent PC, and it is characterized by a limited footprint.
Built according to the GMP norms with a balcony style, Integra220 has been designed around three basic concepts: versatility, ergonomics, and maximum efficiency.
The easy access to all stations and the maximum visibility of all units allow ease of cleaning of the line. The system for blister extraction is efficient due to suction cups, and positive pick and place.
The mechanical movements of the stations—forming, sealing, perforating, and coding group, cutting—are completely controlled by servo motors. That allows the ability to reach high production speeds, easy format changeover, and noise reduction.
The line has an integrated robotized connection, the Robocombi; a solution, without intermediate steps, that picks up blisters using suction cups and places it in the cartoner buckets’ chain.
The blister cartoning section is completely new and allows the machine managements—such as cartons or leaflets loading, the recovery of good blisters in line—in a single access zone.
Special toothed belts transport the cartons, while oscillating arms pick up and open them. The format changeover is simple and fast due to the possibility to adapt the product parameter from the PC. The line guarantees an output of 150 cartons/min.
