For manual sealing machines, the retrofit die-recognition system identifies the current die using a 2D bar code and verifies that the process time, temperature, and pressure settings are correct for that die. System does not allow sealer to seal unless the settings match the current die; optionally, software can record and archive lot and die ID numbers, and sealer settings.
