Healthcare Packaging’s Serialization Playbook was downloaded more than 4,700 times between 2012 and 2018. Each person answered a series of questions that revealed details such as where they worked, their role in serialization, as well as key metrics such as how many lines they were responsible for serializing and where those lines were located.

As Chart I shows, two-thirds of Playbook survey respondents worked in the U.S., yet this chart indicates the global nature of the topic, where solid input came from the Asia/India/Australia region. Global respondents to a U.S.-based survey could be attributable to companies based in other countries selling their products in the U.S., and/or could apply to ongoing serialization-related legislation in countries outside the U.S.
